3M™ Automotive Adhesion Promoter 06396 is a fast-drying liquid primer that enhances the adhesion of 3M™ Acrylic Foam Tape and 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape in automotive applications. It promotes a permanent bond with most low-surface-energy (LSE) plastic materials commonly used in automotive exterior trim attachment.

With its quick drying time and efficient application, 3M™ Automotive Adhesion Promoter 06396 ensures robust attachment and reliable performance for automotive instrument panel, interior trim and exterior trim parts. This adhesion promoter comes in convenient sponge applicator packets, with one packet covering up to 150 sq. in. It offers a quick drying time of as little as 30 seconds. It is great for use on LSE plastics, as well as thermoplastic olefin (TPO), p-phenylene oxide (PPO), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) materials, and is especially effective for attaching trim and injection-molded body side moldings.
